Columbus, Ga. –Today, Realtree formally announced a pro staff deal with Santa Claus, including terms to become the Official Camo of Christmas. Santa will be wearing a variety of suits this holiday season including ones in Realtree Edge, Timber, and the all-new MAX-7 pattern. As the holiday season approaches, Santa and his staff will be fielding requests from boys and girls across the globe, and demand for Realtree camo is expected to be at an all-time high. The exclusive partnership between Realtree and Santa lends itself to making this Christmas season a special one for the outdoor enthusiast.
Realtree Founder and CEO Bill Jordan noted, “We’ve been trying to think of a way to officially get Santa in our camp for some time now. Our group really enjoys this time of year, and seeing little ones light up around the Christmas season is hard to beat,” Jordan continued. “Santa and Realtree came to terms quickly, and the reality for our brand and his is that concealment is key. We believe this match make sense, will be fun, and keeps us both at the top of our game.”
In addition to wearing Realtree, Santa will have direct access to hundreds of Realtree licensed brands that are certain to meet demand this holiday season. Spartan trail cameras, Crocs, ArcticShield parkas and bibs, Ridge Wallets, and Groove Life rings and belts are just a few of the holiday items on many wish lists this Christmas season. Early design concepts are in development for an exclusive Realtree wrap on Santa’s sleigh in addition to camo-accented accessories for the reindeer. Santa is expected to be seen in an assortment of Realtree’s holiday ad campaigns this year. Additionally, Santa will be on site at Realtree’s headquarters in Columbus, Georgia, December 9, 2022, when Realtree will be serving lunch to every Muscogee County first responder.
When asked for comment, Santa said, “Look, what Bill Jordan may not realize is I’ve been a Realtree guy since Day 1. NORAD started tracking my movement back in 1955, and so it’s critical that I stay hidden. Back in 1986, the game changed for me when I started wearing Realtree, and I’m excited to have my official suit now carry the Realtree pattern.”
Claus continued, “The photorealistic nature of each pattern is best-in-class; I love their Timber2Table recipes, and having access to world-class brands with the Realtree camo makes being on the ‘good list’ that much better this year for boys and girls everywhere.”
Interestingly, the deal almost hit a wall after Comet and Blitzen indicated they had watched several of Realtree’s Monster Buck DVDs, and had concerns. The site visit to Columbus, from Santa and his eight reindeer, allowed the Realtree team to assure the group that they are “reindeer” and would not be featured in any of the upcoming Monster Buck programs. This helped seal the deal.
In a world full of noise, Realtree and Santa encourage you to remember what is important this Christmas season and to spend time with your family and friends. Better yet, go outside and enjoy that time together wearing Realtree camo. Wearing anything else will prove which list you were on this year.
