One of the purposes of TFB’s Photo Of The Day is to broaden the audience for the excellent work done by photographers of firearms. In this case Cinematic Arms and his photos of the FNC. FNC stands for Fabrique Nationale Carabine.
Just a few days ago I got a real good look at a privately owned FN FNC rifle. It was semi-auto and one of the very few around here. Painted exactly like the Swedish Ak5, in green. If it was for sale I’d buy it in a heartbeat, but unfortunately, it’s not.
In the movie HEAT, Lt. Vincent Hanna (more known as the actor Al Pacino) used a FN FNC-80. You can watch the sequences on IMFDB.org.
Thanks very much to Francis Torres and Cinematic Arms for letting TFB use his images.
